Brandon Gibbons

Brandon Gibbons began his teaching career in 2001, sharing his passion for music with students of all ages. Over the past two decades, he has instructed hundreds of students in guitar, bass, piano, and music theory across Connecticut, Washington, Texas, and now Maine.

His diverse teaching background includes tenures at esteemed institutions in Connecticut, Seattle, and Dallas including The National Guitar Workshop, 4/4 School of Music, Music Lessons on Wheels, and Music By Ross. This extensive experience has allowed him to develop a comprehensive and adaptable teaching style, tailored to each student's unique needs.

Brandon's professional performance career spans over 20 years, encompassing thousands of shows. His versatile experience includes playing in 20-piece musical theater orchestras and solo jazz gigs. He served as the Music Director for Carnival Cruise Lines for five years, where he played guitar in the Showband, performing Las Vegas-style revue shows and top-40 lounge band sets.

In 2015, Brandon and his wife Jackie formed The Gibbonses, a Texas Americana group. They released two albums, embarked on four national tours, and performed alongside popular Texas artists such as Shane Smith and the Saints, Flatland Calvary, William Clark Green, and Blue Water Highway.

Brandon graduated from the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts in 1999, and studied Jazz and Popular Music performance for two years at The Hartford Conservatory, honing his skills and deepening his understanding of diverse musical genres.


Jackie Gibbons

Voice • Piano

Jackie Gibbons, an accomplished voice and piano instructor, began her teaching career in 2012. She has taught at the 4/4 School of Music in Seattle and through her own private studio.

Jackie earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory, where she trained from 2006-2010, studying under some of the most prestigious voice teachers in the U.S.

With 28 years of professional performance experience, Jackie’s career highlights include singing the national anthem at Major League Baseball games, performing at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas Texas, and appearing in over 50 professional and regional musical theater productions and cabarets. She also spent two years as a singer for Carnival Cruise Lines, where she performed in a Top-40 cover band.

In 2015, after moving to Dallas, Jackie and her husband Brandon, formed the Texas Americana group, The Gibbonses. Together, they performed for hundreds of corporate events and weddings across Texas.

In 2023, Jackie and her husband relocated to Maine to start a family, bringing her wealth of experience and passion for teaching to the Midcoast area.
